Please do not do this.
Screens are under extreme pressure. They also hold a substantial charge
even after being turned off. I am very worried you could get seriously
injured. Also the coating in a screen would no doubt be toxic to fish.
I do not know what it is, if anyone does post it and I'll
Ah, thats ok then.
I've dealt with loads of people before who just open up things with
capacitors the size of a house, and look blank when you say No, thats
dangerous. Bad..
For polishing the coating off, I recommend brasso. It gets rid of
anything! Once you have it clean wash it in hot water

Actually, they contain a vacuum.
Or rather, they don't contain anything...;o)

Yes you'll be fine, UT is very CPU dependent, and you have no problems

I completely understand. I have a PowerBook G4 and still notice the
sluggishness. Even Classic is fantastically snappy compared to X.
The reason is that OS X has fantastic multi-tasking capabilities, at
the sacrifice of UI responsiveness. OS 9 stops everything while you

Although not much help at the moment, OS 10.3 (Panther's) version of

You may find that 10.3 will natively support your cam them. I am hoping
it will, I have about 4 web-cams knocking around the house and not one

No, the only firmware update released was for the Extreme base stations.

No offense, but are you sure apple has been sending out cease and
desist orders? macrumors.com, what i consider to be the definitive
rumor site, still has their mirror of the pics up, and they are
normally very quick to comply with apple legal.
Yep, I'm sure.

So, your saying that becasue apple dosent have a lot of money they

No. I'm saying that Apple's resources are rather tight, and the
company
needs to focus on more important problems than esoteric user
preferences.
The users are the ones who give them the money

However they also say that after a few weeks using it, you will never

Hi,
I, along with other G-Books members gave some advice to someone on this

remember correctly they had it replaced.

under, replace the DC board, ie, if

It all depends what you are listening to the music through, how much

It's very hard to give a definitive answer to this sort of question.

Apple seem to be very polar.
I've had cases where I've been on the phone less than 10 minutes, have

Only going up to 76% is NOT normal, call Apple service, they'll either:
a) Send you a new battery and a box to send them your old battery
b) Ask you to send them your laptop and they'll test the battery and
the laptop.
Hope it's fixed soon!

OS X stops charging when it reaches (usually 90-90%), to prevent lots
of rapid discharges and re-charges damaging the battery.
Your iPod is probably drawing charge and affecting this, disconnect the
iPod and see what charge you reach before it stops, if it is still 88%,
phone Apple support.
