I bought a G4/500 upgrade for my G3/250 WS almost 2 years ago. The only speed increase I've noticed is when scanning or converting a CD to an MP3, i.e. CPU-intensive apps. The lack of a graphics chip upgrade path for a WS is the biggest drawback to a speed increase, IMHO -- G-Books is sponsored
