My setup is: Powerbook G3 Series Wallstreet 292mhz OEM 8 gig HD 128mb Ram 14.1" screen I believe the startup problem is bad ram, most of time is spent at grey screen or before. I will be swapping out the two 64mb sticks tomorrow for a total of 512 =) I have not installed any software that I kno

What powerbook model is it and what os are you using and you ram.with a ws 2 and the latest os 10 it takes me like 6 minuts when I am booting the 10 and classic.os 10 needs at least 256 ram to function properly..in os 9 having an os for a while without properly maintaining it leads

Ok, the NOT sleeping would be a wonderful idea, if my Powerbook didn't take litterally 10-12 sometimes 15 minutes to boot. What gives?? I thought this was normal for an older 'book. Can this be fixed, if not sleeping is my only choice. Help? -- G-Books is sponsored by

Hello, All. I have a wall street 250 running OS 9.2.2. When I put the computer to sleep it wakes up a few minutes later. I have checked the energy saver control panel and it is not set to wake up. This also happens whether or not "Apple Talk" is active. Any suggestions? Thanks, Spencer --
