Looking at ebay, it seems all that is advertised is the adapter to
hook the old Beige computers up to VGA monitors. Nothing to hook the
old DB-15 monitors to a HD-15 card.

Yes indeed that is what I suggested. Test it first in the G4 after cloning to
see if it boots. If it does, then make the R&R.

There is, but it involves removing the HD. For this Mac, youre better
off with OS 9, unless you upgrade the RAM to at least 256MB and even
then 10.3 Panther is probably a better bet.
