After I realized that OpenOffice 1.1 was failing because of a lack of disk

Thanks guys for all your help. I deleted everything in /var/tmp/portage and
/usr/portage/distfiles. I also deleted two kernels that I no longer used. I
went from having 267mb free to 4.4gb free. What a difference. I think I can
install

parted should be able to do what you need, but it depends on
which partitions
