Guys, When replacing the brake pads, is it really necessary to replace those spring clips or support pads (as Yamaha calls them) The price for this simple spring clip is $22 for the front brake! And, thats at PowersportsPro. By the way, the service manual also recommends replacing the broke hoses

If the bike is in neutral, it will start whether the sidestand is up or down. My problem occurs when trying to start the bike in gear with the sidestand up and the clutch pulled in. And its only been intermittant under those conditions. In neutral, it starts every time regardless of the clutch
