I like the Macadams--a good compromise of value and grip for me. Been able
to grind the right peg with real consistancy on my "cloverleafs"
(off-ramps), just wish we had more that turned left! I use the 120/180
combo with high pressures. I have some Avons now--I'm just fickle that

How do you get the chain off without removing the REAR wheel? ;>) I think
Roger said a 43 would fit with the stock chain, and he uses the smaller

What do you guys use to torque them back on? Is there anything that
adjusts and is thin enough to put a torque wrench on? I'm not sure I'm
bright enough to calcualte the adjustment if I use the strap thingy... I
currently use a specific end cap but it won't fit but one filter (Yamaha).

The Macadam 90x's get my vote. I've tried B'stone 57's, Dunlop 204's

That's why the ERC class is good! I too am a little skittish about locking
the front. Try this trick: Brake hard (not enough to lock!) while
crossing a short paint stripe or similar road hazard--the lock should be of
short duration but you should feel at least one pulse of the ABS.
Of course,
Joe,
Check the numbers again--I think there were 800 or so '94's and lots more
'93's. I'll see if I can find the numbers.

Kinda sorta... It does say "recommended" and there are instances of
inspection for leaks and cracks and a replacement if damage is found. I'm
not aware of the cost of all these hoses, but replacing them every two
years would tend to get expensive. Sounds like you out to get with your
dealer and
Turns out I was wrong about the replacement of brake hoses needing to be
done every 3 years--the manual recommends every 2 (two!) years! The
dust seals and piston seals should also be replaced every two years.
STRANGELY enough, the manual says to replace the fluid "only when brakes
are disas
