and give you a summary of dynamic memory allocated and freed.
Also worth running "size command" as I've seen Fortan programs with huge
static memory allocations, add up the bss and data values.

Strings is a filter specifically designed to find printable strings in a file
so presumably designed to cope with lots of binary mush.
Let's hope your tempfiles weren't stored on ramdis

that the system has been compromised. Especially as others have pointed
out that file size looks odd. Anything strange in the logs for Jan 10 ?

hat 500m of water pressure
does strange things to the impedence of cables etc. Something that works
on the bench may not work under pressure.
For underwater comms over any real distance we go fiber optic, unless
the customer has other ideas.

It comes with a wall wart power supply which is probably the only fly in
the ointment but any 5V supply could be used.
Must admit my first thought for a non-work application was a central
heating/solar water contoller on steroids.
