John,
Thanks for being responsive to your community. I'm setting up another

That's quite impressive. My server has actually be empty since I created it,
but I'm thinking that this is probably because I'm running it on completely
non-standard ports and it probably doesn't appear in the server browser.

After my e-mail transactions with Kitteny I thought what better then to
fire one up myself... sooo ... I did. What really surprised me though
was that when I did the initial fire up the server, in the time it took

As many of you know we are currently running a free weekend for
Killing Floor. One thing I have noticed is a lot of the servers are
set to the hard difficulty setting, and the free weekend players are
getting owned on hard since hard is designed for players that have
levelled up their perks
Good :)

Well we'll be happy to take IW's PC COD fans off thier hands when RO:
Heroes of Stalingrad ships next year :) We will ship our game with a
dedicated server, server browser, mod SDK, and all of the features PC
gamers have come to expect from a AAA FPS.
So I would suggest that rather than peti

As interesting and disappointing as it may be, i agree with Shane here,
The list is a list for the valve dedicated server, anything else will
clutter it up and make it hard to use for its purpose.

It is actually Valve related as its being launched on the steam
platform, which on the sales page has nothing about this critical
flaw. So letting potential server admins for this game know, who
will be on this list, that there is going to be no server is a
relevant point.
Anyone not aware of this
I read about this and was seriously disappointed. I had full intent on
setting one up upon release, now I'm not even sure if I want the game at
all.

Not that it is my intention to keep posting off topic, if people were allowed
to s**t up a mailing list with generic stuff like this, then what is the point
in a mailing list other than to spam? It's not a "general admin" mailing list,
it's a mailing list for the HLDS software by VALVe, and is a

Yes, this is spam.
It made me angry that they are not going to be releasing it but just have to
live with it. Now Stop the spam as its not valve related.. Hlds or srcds
related.

That isn't spam. It's an issue that made me so unbelievably angry the
game isn't worth buying, nor pirating. It's like L4D matchmaking
(necessary as all games HAVE to have 4 players, basically), except
this is for an FPS. I only ever played Hardcore, 40+ player servers.
Well that's no more.
