Do I need to re-register my steampipe TF2 server for quickplay, after
updating from a hlds version? Or can I use the quickplay account from my
previous (identical) hlds install of TF2?
Reason I ask is that I have had a steampipe version of a (previously)
popular server which had a fair amount
Just to confirm, mapcycle.txt should be in the cfg folder now?

The -replay launch flag will execute cfg/replay.cfg and add a hidden slot
to the server for the replay bot.
So far, for my servers, that's worked perfectly to get replays to work on
startup.

Valve does indeed add these tags, but it is all on the server side. Similar
mods to those that mask bots as real players, and misrepresent player
counts can also change the tags reported to the master servers.
This is the main issue at hand. A lot of servers have made a habit of
misrepresentation
Thanks, so it is replays that are causing the problem. Does the port for
replay have to be set in the command line, or can it be set in server.cfg?

I've been noticing recently an increase in the number of ports each srcds
instance is using, which is causing some servers to start up on the wrong port
after a crash or restart. I have the servers spaced by 10 ports or so, but I am
having particular issues with a (pretty popular) server run
Ive been noticing the same issue since the OB engine swap. I only play cs so
not sure if it was happening on tf2 or other ob games before. It only happens
sometimes, but I notice it on specific servers (not sure if it happens with
S|X
for me, but I haven't noticed them before) and sometime
