We had the same question about a year ago, and the only answer we could find
was two pieces of hardware The first box was essentially an escon/ficon
converter that could emulate 3390's on SAN storage. The second box sat
between the first box and the SAN storage and did the encrypt/decrypt.
CTG is a third-party consulting group. If they are like other consulting
companies that I have seen recently, the price that the hiring company is
paying is a lot closer to double what the consultant is getting. The consulting

every file is in a unpublished, often proprietary format. The data is then
compressed and written in yet another proprietary format over several physical
devices.
I have tried to increase the delay value as well, but I have noticed when the
problem occurs, it does not seem to honor the delay value at all. For instance,

number of seconds before submitting the next job, attempting to insure
that JES has finished converting the current job before it even sees the
