Greetings,
For the longest time we have been getting a spool file sent
from DIRMAINT sent to a user who has its directory entry changed (DIRM FOR
userid REPLACE).
For example :
q rdr XX
all
ORIGINID FILE CLASS RECORDS CPY HOLD
DATE TIME
NAME TYPE
DIRMAINT 1813 A PUN
It isn't a matter of grammar.
It's a quote from the Highlander (http://imdb.com/title/tt0091203/)

Now that reminds me of Mr Gilmore's postings on the Assembler list.
Yes, it is another call for session chairs for the upcoming SHARE. There
are lots of really good sessions left to choose from. Pick one..pick many!
If you are going to be attending SHARE, don't miss the opportunity to actually
be a part of it! (There might even be free chocolate involved!)

The z/VM 4.3 manual (why are you looking in the 3.1 book?) specifically
says that 4M blocks is for virtual disk in storage. There should actually
be two lines in that table: one for V-DISK and one for FB-512 (equivalent
to the largest 9336, a mod 20).
So,
Hi,
I am a bit unclear about something in RSCS.
From CMS I can send files to RSCS with the name
of an SNA3270P printer in the TAG, or the name
of the SNANJE link which is our VSE system.
In both cases the file prints at the expected printer.
I have sent output from MVS to the SNA printers

:-) But is never correct for a later release of VM.
I thought that since V-DISK in a 4.3 system can be 4194296, I

What about ATTACH or DEDICATE or DEVNO ... ?
Wouldn't those be viable workarounds as long as the guest can deal with
the device on its own?
