I have 320gb hdd, and have separate partitions for /, /boot and /home.
Using Fedora 16, I have created the /boot partition with size of 100mb
initially thought, it would be enough to handle it. But the problem arose
when I tried to update using yum update.

truncate data in all tables and then take backup of your schema. That will

Hi Prasanna,
You only merge free space with a partition that is nearby. If there are
partitions in between they cannot be merged. The 200Mb free space must be
next to the /boot partition.
Make sure you allot some more space for /boot (you may need it in future
while installing multiple distros et
