I have the same problem with the PCQLinux kernel 2.6.2.
I have nvidia nforce audio controller.
Have tried the nforce nvidia drivers- but no drivers are available for the
latest kernel.
guess this is the price to pay for being at the bleeding edge of Linux.

Hi all,
The basic of military grade software is that it should be a realtime
operating system. That means the commands get processed the moment it is
issued and does not wait for other processes to finish.

Hi there,
I Have a D-Link DFM 560ES modem.
It works fine as a standard modem in REd Hat LInux 9.
It should work as a standard modem with your configuration too.

Dear Gyandev,
Configure the bios to boot up from a cd- you need to press del or ctrl
while the bios d
change to the following folder using-cd /boot/grub
then type -grub-install /dev/hda
This works in RHL9.
Should restore the grub to the MBR.

I dont know if you can resize the linux partitions without reinstalling
the linux again. I dont think there are any partition resizers for linux
as such.

A 700 MZh Pc is fast enough to run linux!!
It is a decent speed.
You now have 192MB ram and thus the swap partition should now be set to
around 384MB rather than just 200MB. It should work faster. Have hope, the
horse is not dead as yet- fit enough for a few more races:-)

I used a relaince connection on windows xp in chandigarh a few months
back and gave me great connect speeds. The efective download speed was
about 9-10kbps/sec. Much more than the traditional dial up connection. I
dont know about linux though.
