Hi Darren, Alex
yes - we are moving towards the point, when Solaris
can successfully be installed when there is already
Linux swap primary partition defined on the same disk.
At the time of being, there are some issues, which

Hi Jedy,
in current implementation, when fresh installation is carried out,
ZFS pool is always being recreated and thus all ZFS datasets and
appropriate data are lost. You need to backup your home before you

Hi John,
you are hitting existing problem in fdisk(1M) command (installer uses
fdisk(1M) for creating Solaris2 partition) - if Solaris2 partition starts
after 4GiB, it can't be resized - please see release notes for details

Hi Andrew,
that is correct - only default territories are available
on 'non-global' LiveCD - this is because of space issues.
If you want to pick up other than default territory,
you need to use 'global' version of LiveCD.

Hi Basant,
it is likely that existence of EFI partition is the reason
why you are encountering this problem.

Hi Marco,
I am glad to hear that it worked.
Since Solaris partition was already marked active,
the fact that Solaris fdisk failed when trying this
shouldn't prevent installer from successfully finishing
its job.
Thank you for trying !
