Took some time to do some more tests.
0.3.2h seems as stable as 0.3.2f for me. No freezes, no jumpiness...
Please note, I was not getting any DMA errors at all, not on f either,
only the freezes in Myth when skipping/jumping when using a version
higher than 0.3.2h.
Also tried the pcitweak setti
I have several servers on a 4Mbit line, they never get shut down (unless
there is a problem with our line) run FreeBSD & MacOS X. FTP/SSH is not
a problem.
This would be on a proper ip-adress & DNS setup.
Let me know if this is interesting.

Hi,
I've been using the 0.19/0.1.10 versions of this driver for about
2 years now with my PVR-350, and it's worked great. Recently, I've
decided to upgrade to the 0.2.x branch, but an having some trouble.
I downloaded and compiled the driver and utils, but when I run depmod, I get:

Hi,
I try to get the xine input plugin for my PVR350 card working.
The plugin grabs from /dev/video and stores the data in a temp .vob file
and also displays the video on the screen.
On the screen I only see the video at ~3fps, but when I play back the
temporary .vob file the video looks great.

Try this with the version that works, run pcitweak, first do this...
pcitweak -l
that will list the devices, use the pci id of the card your output is
on.
Then run this...
pcitweak -w (PCI_ID) 0x40 0x
Let me know what the results of that test are, it's really the only diff

Hi All,
Is this was still the best method for watching movies via ivtv:
mplayer -cache 8196 -fs -framedrop -autosync 30 -vo ivtvosd -vf expand=720:576
Movie.avi
It gives watchable stuff...however I get motion jerkiness with a lot of screen
change. Ditching the expand gets rid of it, but the pic

Rudi,
Something must have been broken. Either the driver or the patched fedora
kernel. How did you do your install? Do you use FC3 and the same software
versions as me? Do you use Axel's repository. My card is about a 1 year
old and behaves exactly as yours. It works fine in windows. Works the

I "almost" have my PVR-500 working. Can anyone help me with the

I am running FC3 build 770, ivtv 0.3.2q drivers on an Athlon 900 MHz

Hi,
I'm one of "the other people on the Myth mailing lists" that also has
this problem ;-)
I have managed to narrow it down to changes done from version k to
version l. Version 0.3.2k is working fine, tried a large number of skips
forward/backward without a single freeze.
version 0.3.2l does fre
Chris,
I looped the output of the 350 into the input of the 350 and it worked
without any problems. Picture quality is ok but as far as I can see I
miss the last GOP of my input file. When I tried to use the 150 S-Video
it only gave black and white pictures as reported earlier on the list.
