While you have that e-mail message opened, tab until you come to the point
where it says, attachment,
which is the first field after the subject line.
At this point, Jaws should tell you how many attachments are with that
message, and read the file name and and size.

8.77 KB is the size of the file (in kilobytes) attached to the email
message.

Is there a setting or is it just a glitch with Jaws 8 when I alt-tab to a
different window or program opened and close it out, I hear nothing.
Jaws is not apparently going to the back to the previous left opened
application. I have to alt tab to it.

I forgot to mention that both messages have files attached to them that are
both less that 1 MB (megabyte) in size. The first one from your description
is 8.77 KB (kilobytes) and the other one is 314 KB (kilobytes). Since you
said that one of the attachments in one of your messages is an attach

Make sure that in folder options you have show file extensions turned on and
hit space bar on apply to all folders.
Now while in the message with the attachments hit insert plus A to put focus on
the attachments.
Now you should be able to read each attachment and the file name and
extensions

SP2 and all updates and make a bootable CD and reinstall with the disk I made
from the retail disk I bought and just forget the restore disks. Way to much

you have to go to your C:\windows\media and pickout the wave files you want to
use and copy them to another folder then remane them, and copy them back into
the same folder after you rename them.
Look in your media folder, or actually any wave files such as oned from sights
