The latest jaws release does not work with windows live mail so I attempted to
install it. When I did the uninstall I did not remove all of the jaws files, I
selected no in the process. I re-installed the previous jaws 12
versionj12.0.525-32. Now that version no longer works with windows live
it will mess up jaws 11 since that version uses those shared files.

may be an idea to see if JAWS11 now works with WLM, before attempting
anything else. A reinstall of JAWS12 official version may also be good.

So can we assume that FS are dropping windows leve mail etc. I see
they have concentrated on thunderbird and there is no mention of Live Mail.
Can we please be told the score here please. If it cannot be

Lenny,
On a 64 bit Win 7 machine the latest version of JAWS works better than the
prior version of JAW 12, but there still needs some improvement.

Hmmm, Strange. My wife just installed Jaws 12.1158 on her Win 7 64-bit
machine and reported that Windows Live Mail works fine.
She had rolled back from an update to Windows Live mail a month ago, so I
don't know which version of WLM she is using, but she had no problem when
upgrading to Jaws
This is a little strange. After installing 1158 wlm would go mute when a
message was opened. Only the invisible cursor would read anything. I
uninstalled 12 leaving the shared files and reinstalled 525. Now this did not
work and neither did jaws 11. I again uninstalled jaws 12 and removed all
