After much frustration, just a few weeks ago, I downloaded the tool and
followed the directions on the web site. It wasn't working until I realized
that speed was the operative word. It appeared to change my option for
unselect self-defence module before I could proceed with the rest of
it completely.
If it isn't showing in the list of programs in the control panel go into
the C drive and click on program files and remove the AVAST folder. Then
restart your computer.
