 I just got my Lace Guild Calendar and it has some wonderful lace design with
Patterns. When I opened the Calendar was ...wait for it...a "DRAGON' pattern
designed by Jan Gardiner. I love dragons...and here is another dragon pattern
for me to make. "Happy" the dragon sure made me happy. There is

I have had my bobbin for some years. It is a painted bobbin for the Millennium
year. On the bobbin is a painted dove who has in her beak a string of flags

I have hunted high and low for the Buck's POint fan pattern that Carolyn
Hastings used in her wedding fan that is pictured in the Arachne Flicker lace
albums. I have written to Carolyn and she says she is in between things right
now and the pattern is not where she thought it might be. Carolyn

I just got my Lace Magazine in the mail and all I can say WOW...I love that
magazine. In the center is a pattern that my brainwaves in circuit excitement.
It is a huge Milanse Dragon...let me type that again...a HUGE MILANESE

It is kinda funny seeing a picture of the delicious cake that we gorged
ourselves on at Ithaca Lace Day Weekend banquet. Believe it or not...I still
have the candied bobbin and shuttle that I took home with me that night. This
was years ago...I don't remember the year. I just think it is kinda
I finally was able to have my VHS tape converted to DVD. I am so happy. I
don't feel bad about it since it was my VHS tape that I bought years ago. So

had on my website and was surprise to see the silver shuttle he made back in

I do know that Ann Keller from Ireland had a beginers lace book for celtic
work. I did the proofing for the book. Also there is two different books from
Angela Aston. One of the booklets is of a celticknot work book mark...and the

I was watching CNN this morning and even though I live in the USA...I do
follow everything Royal. When I see stuff happening in the UK it takes me back
down memory lane to what I saw and did when I visited the UK about 12 years

paste I only got part of the chart too. So I just went and clicked on each

I have looked at the pictures of Kate's wedding dress that is on display
and I have to say that I think some people are just being too critical. I
think it is a nice display myself. It shows the dress and the veil to
perfection. I wish I could be in England to see the dress for myself. I

wedding people in the media were comparing it to Carrickmacross Lace which it
actually isn't. The wedding was so great to watch on TV. I so wish I could

to keep handmade laces alive for hte next generation and the generation after
that and so on. I am just stating it isn't Carrickmacross lace technique which
