[leaf-user] Problem after power outage

2003-03-21 Thread Patrick Teague
Hello, I had a power outage yesterday morning, my leaf box wasn't affected because it's on a UPS. However my external modem is connected to the surge protector part of the UPS, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be working. It was working fine prior to the power outage. I've plugged the mod

the only way I mount floppies via console is mount -t msdos /dev/fd0u1680 (or 1440, etc). Thanks for the suggestion though :) Patrick - Original Message - From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Patrick Teague" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday,

[leaf-user] 1680 floppy is not working for me! :(

2002-10-06 Thread Patrick Teague
Hello, I'm currently using Bering v1.0-rc3 & it works great... when it works. Anytime I want or need to make a change it's ok until I have to save to a floppy & then this causes all kinds of problems. I can change 1440 floppies fine between all 5 of my computers with no problems. However, when

2002-07-29 Thread Patrick Teague
Hello, I have a Linksys 10BaseT/BNC Ethernet Combo card (I think it's LNE2, it's definately PCI) I was hoping to use for my DSL connection. So far the only info on the appropriate drivers I've found has suggested using tulip. However, tulip works fine to get my newer Linksys 10/100BaseT LAN Card

Hello, I've been trying to get some Linmodem drivers to work correctly with Bering 1.0-rc3. The drivers work on my p350 with RedHat installed with both the 2.4.0 & 2.4.9-13 kernels. After compiling I end up with 2 files - pctel.o & ptserial.o. I've put both of these in /lib/modules & made chan
