Thoroughly entertaining game yesterday. I think the result was right, we could
have had more and Town didn't bother us much but I think they did put of a
fight in the first half and I don't think they will be going down.
The match started brilliant with Ayling's flying volley. It was a similar

This town fan who owns a cafe in hudds posted a picture on social media of the

It wasn’t so much the fact of the defeat (1-0 to the league leaders, them
scoring with a decent strike by the best player on the pitch - who of course
should have been off it by then…) it was the manner. Disorganised, gutless,
very little apparent plan…plan B…but the simple stuff like passes in

I felt pretty pissed when I heard the team news today. How on earth can you
think about winning a championship match with a midfield of Dallas, Murphy and

This has been the story of LUFC ever since that raving lunatic arrived. The

wins he had to leak a story about another manager, or after it was leaked,

Thought they looked there for the taking after we scored but we didn't
capitalise and let them back in game.
Second half was awful. Wagner made some good changes and we didn't react.
I thought we gave up after

Two great results in a week in two very different games. As expected Town came
for a draw and I think they frustrated us in what was a pretty turgid first
half. I've got to be honest, at the time I was frustrated and bored by our
play. Forward, forward, fucking forward I shouted but we just
Can't add much to that. Thought it was the best we've played for ages.
I would have antenucci man of the match. His work rate is incredible, he has a
great first touch and rarely gives the ball away. Austin's goal came from him
closing down their left back.
I know what you're saying about
Missed Warnock out of my scores
He deserved a 9 ,he was the best defender in the first half and was good going
forward 2nd half.

Thanks very much for the match report Rich.
As I don't get to many games living in the depths of Gloucestershire, I really
look forward to reading match reports from members of the list, so much better
than reading the newspapers, so thank you all of you for taking the time

Cheers for the report Rich.
Interesting about Redfearn's post match. Does anyone have a link?

This really was a game of two halves and I think that was
mainly down to the conditions with the wind blowing strong towards the Kop.
Although we ran out comfortable winners this really could have gone either way
but Huddersfield with their powder puff
at half time.
Anyway, off to read rest of comments which will no doubt be fucking shite this
and that and ffs why cant we etc.. will post again in a few when read.

It was a thoroughly miserable day at Elland Road yesterday. Let’s get the
