Go to the family view and right click on a child's name. You'll get a
context menu - choose "view" and select half kids
Legacy support - perhaps this shouild be in the options screen as well.
Useful if all customisations were available in one place.

I did just do a File Check/Repair and that didn't change anything. I

I did not receive any responses on this one, and was afraid it may have
gotten lost in the midst of the Foster Storm that was raging on this list

does anybody have a suggestion for me as to whom I should contact?

I just rechecked the customize option (had to turn it off last night),
and entered "Summers 1956-1958" and am still caught in the loop! I did
shut down Legacy and my computer overnight.
So I dunno - wish it started working again for me!! Lucky you!

Wow! I think this discussion about foster children and how to handle
them in Legacy has gone overboard with expanded discussions about rules,
rules, and more rules has gone overboard. Every time I see a message
about this, I will delete it. How many of have foster children in our
families anyway
Yesterday and today I have been unable to login to Family Search. Is anyone

Just a suggestion.
It's ridiculous to have to edit stuff INTO your reports - but a fairly simple
matter to edit it out.
You are creating your reports in rtf format and they open in your word
processor, and then converting to PDF files, right? (You need a pdf converter
to convert an rtf file
Or maybe you simply don't care as much - and I can't find fault with that.

Walt, what you are seeing is correct but in narrative reports and at least
some charts the printing of duplicates can be removed by going to Report
Options>Format and checking "don't repeat duplicate lines" This will insert
a note referring to the previous entry (IIRC).
