Hi Ellaine,
Following Sherry's comments on Xceedzip.dll, which is a dll I am not
familiar with, I had to do some research!
Yes, it would seem that it is possible for this dll to be taken over by a
worm but if your AV and Spyware software is up to date and regularly run and
show no problems
Gary,
I am not using Gmail and all of Pat's postings are coming to me as blank
emails with her message contained in an attachment entitled ATTN (where
N is a number). -- Alice

I suspect most people on any list add the other
e-mailers to their own list as a not-spam address.
This may take a while for all the old-address

Pat,
We're having some problems. I'll forward this to Ken to take a look at -
he's handling the subscription list problems.
Thanks for using Legacy.

Kelly,
Firstly, it is not possible for a person to appear on a Gedcom if they are
not in your files. So I suggest you check the Index to see if that person is
still there - you may have had a duplicate.
WRT exporting a Gedcom; when exporting have you looked under the Customise

Kelly,
Try running FileFile MaintenanceCheck/Repair and the create your Gedcom

Well I decided to import the files I had from Ancestry.com When I tried to
merge the files with what I had, I lost everything. So what I did is create a
new file to Legacy for that. So it is up to date. I just wonder if it will
act up in the future as I update it. Time will tell. Thank

I may have missed the original post with this one, but I too recently purchased

Am I interpreting correctly that you are exporting to GEDCOM and then uploading
to something like Ancestry.com and then
checking the Ancestry.com reports and find discrepencies between that and your
Legacy file?
If so, have you looked at the GEDCOM before uploading it. I'm willing to bet it

No I sent it to Family Tree DNA. It will let you upload the whole file, then
you can check the name list, or save it and then check the family tree by
viewing it after it was saved. This is really strange.
Thanks to all who have helped me!

Still, I would check the GEDCOM before you upload to confirm whether it's
your GEDCOM that is strange or the one your viewing on Family Tree DNA.

Hi Pat,
Well you can intersperse background information with family data - it
just depends how you want to do that.
If you use the Book publishing option within the Legacy Publication
Centre, you could either insert some of this background info (even
