I just bought a new HP computer with Vista on it. We found a good sale
on it but we really got what we paid for. Will I ever learn? Vista is
terrible, at this stage. You can't download things easily. It only came
with junky programs or ones that you can only get for 60 day trial period.
I can't help with the Vista problems, except to say the developers are
working on the Vista problems.
As for Ancestry, if you can, get your information from them in a Gedcom
(download). Open the Gedcom in Legacy, and work with it until you are
satisfied with it. (Do not import into you family

C:\WINPROG\LEGACY\DATA\TREES
C:\WINPROG\LEGACY\DATA\PICTURES
C:\WINPROG\LEGACY\DATA\SOUNDS
C:\WINPROG\LEGACY\DATA\VIDEOS
(note that I put all the user data into separate folders UNDER the DATA

What did you use for Record Selection? Where did you
put your file for Export Gedcom File? I put mine in
'Data'. You must tell it where to go or it didn't go
anywhere. Create file name to send it to. THEN, you
can move the file as attachment, or copy as a
