We occasionally need to remind new people that all
changes are 'saved' permanently immediately. So the
only change that you NEED to check after a crash is
what you were working on. It is sort of strange, but
it remembers what you have done, but not where you did

Hi Susan,
I've tried to reproduce this and can't. Can you?
How are you moving from field to source?
I can't get to the Source until I deal with the County Verifier.
That's normally the way with Legacy.
I mainly use the mouse to move around - and it sounds as if you are as well.

Hi Jim,
You can't lock the database in the sense you mean - I hadn't realised
that Legacy now took a read only database and assumed you wanted to
open it so changed the attribute for you - certainly easier for those
who are less computer literate but annoying if you thought you were

I'm a new Legacy user looking for an alternative to FTM which I've used for

tools that Legacy has for cleaning up my sources and locations. The Legacy
tools are far superior to what I've had to work with in FTM. The recent

1) you enter the e-mail address you want changed (ie: the e-mail address you

I have a similar problem with my kids. I use the "Windows+L" key combo to

Kathy,
Unsubscribing from the list is very easy. Just look at the last line
of each email. See where it says "To unsubscribe:" Click on that link
then put the word Unsubscribe in the subject and body.
