I gave it a new name. Each time I tried it I gave it a new name and it just
kept saying that it was an existing file. I did try something after posting the
first email here. To start, the gedcom I was trying to import again was one I
had produced myself with Legacy. After exporting it as
IMHO, NEVER use the same name. It MAY copy on top of
the old one, and 'erase by default' your old data.

You may just want to try the Index tab & place the Birth Date field for display.
Then all you have to do is locate your Cullodens and you can easily
see who does not have a birthdate.

exactly the same) that you wanted to use for 3 events. In that case, use
the directions from Bruce below.

Click on the "books" icon for the desired individual
Highlight the immigration event

transferred over 5000 records to another program on another computer using a

After updating to V7.0.0.55 I succesfully completed the merge which had
messed up so bad with V7.0.0.53. After completeing the merge I ran a file
maintenance which did not report any problems. I looked at the Marriage List
and it was clean.
