Using the descendant chart, the the same result in other descendant reports. My brother in law's wife had a child to a previous encounter and three with him. If I run the descendant report it will show only 3 children for him and his wife even though it will display the 1/2 child. If I adopt him

It has been a while since I did that...I am running 6.0. But, what doesn't make sense to me is that within the program itself, these individuals ARE bolded as direct line. They are just not showing up as bolded within the search results list (some are, some not). Could that still be the problem of

Good point, but yes, I made sure of that. Actually, I'm okay now. What I did was to clear and set, a couple of times, and then I also re-set the "apply color to this line" (although I had done this at one time, but it apparently needed to be re-set).
