Syble I can confirm that Legacy works well using MojoPac, but it would be a mistake to assume that you can breeze into a library and just plug something into one of their computers. I wouldn't want you to end up in a heap on the footpath outside! Graham From: k...@legacyfamilytree.com

One solution which is not perfect but may be useful is that PAF 5 does work on a flash drive. You can export your Legacy file as a PAF 5 format GEDCOM and upload it to PAF 5 (which of course is available for free from familysearch.org). This would suit the situation where you just want your data

Kim, The printing of RINSs in reports is optional, and I would strongly resist any attempt to remove this option as they are the main reference for individuals and I use them constantly. For Pedigree Webpages they are also the file names for the individuals. Ron Ferguson

Ron I think the point Kim was making is that you can't print MRINs on reports without also printing RINs. Like Kim I file all my papers by marriage and therefore use MRIN as a reference. Having RINs appearing everywhere then becomes an un-necessary distraction for anyone not using individual

Unfortunately, because different reports say the same thing in different ways, changing the Marriage screen, even if Overrides did work, so that all reports would have the wording you want won't solve this problem. That means, any time we want to create a report, we need to do a shortened version

Diane, Of course you can delete the old/uninstall the older versions setups/updates. If you have v7, this program has all the coding plus more than v5/6, and the current download of L7 will always have the current specs. The only reason to keep the old install and updates is if you want to
