Most information in the file tends to be before the present "counties" appeared so I find it easiest to stick with the 19th Century counties, there were a few minor adjustments then but nothing like what was done post-1972. Many people still don't use the modern county names - my home was in Bolt

If you have the Deluxe edition, the Chronology view is the place to do it. I have input the boundary changes under a grouping for each state or province. Here is an example of what I have done. Sound like a good idea, but I would be surprised if the programmers can make it work. In my DB, I have some locations with up to 5 location AKAs (or more)for the same place, different decades.
