FS gets bug fixes with many new L8 builds. But Millennia is not
sending out new builds of L7.5 so that version is not getting those updates.

has 2 sons called Henry, one of whom is deceased. If I click Share Event from
the mother’s individual window I get the “People who share this event” window.

I am using Leg 7.5 and I find that Family Search will not take anything I
share with it, I always have to take from them. Since I am trying to get
my tree onto Family Search I would like for it to work correctly, so that I
don't have to go to FS to add children or whatever needs adding.

I think the easiest solution is to just add the same-sex partner as either a
wife or husband whether their sex matches that position or not. The marriage
options allow adding whatever you want under "Master Marriage Status List" and
you can also put a note that both individuals are either male

I am the "Keeper" of a fairly large database for a family association with lots
of collaborators. It is not possible for good collaboration between version
7.5 and version 8 because the file structures have changed. Version 7 files
can be read by version 8 but not vice versa. Therefore
