magnifier) on the computer I have a search field where I can search my whole
computer for whatever,
if I search there for *.fdb I get a list of all fdb files I have on my computer.

Not so surprising they have problems solving it when it is only some people
having that problem.
I have an 11 year old Dell computer with 32 Gb Ram and have 63 people in
the file.
I do however ran Windows 10.
Legacy starts instantly for me whether I use V9 or V9.5

Basically what you add is what gets out. If you enter a country it will be
listed. If you write Norge, that is what will get out.
In the register over places you can have a long address and a short add
Calculating birth date from death records doesn't get correct results
though. The age given at death might not
mean you get the year of birth correct. It may be off by a year or on
occasions several years.
Some church records may be that accurat, but definetely not all.
