ONLY IF either a) in the search list or b) with a certain tag?
For example, "Find "COOK" within SURNAME field for everyone with Tag 1 and
replace with "COOKE".

Ugh. I hoped Shared Events would make my life easier ... now I'm not so
sure.

event but do not want to include them if the event is only there because it

I am happy that v9 has a FAG data field and direct link to this well
accepted and important genealogical tool. For years I have been capturing
FAG memorials in my Legacy file by copying the FAG memorial number into the
UserID field. Now that there is a dedicated FAG memorial ID field,
I don't know why Legacy lost the link to over 500+ media files. I didn't
change the file location (it's on Dropbox). All files are still in
Legacy/Media folder. However, I get prompted to relink my media, and when
I run the relink program, I get told "Legacy cannot find your media files."

This may have been addressed by this group already, but I wanted to share a
workaround I use for adding a 2nd spouse whose name is unknown to Legacy,
as you can not directly save a person without adding something to the name
fields.
I don't like using or any other indicator in the fields, I
I simply enter them in with the first name blank, their father's surname,
and gender unknown. You could add "bef 1910" for the death date.

I have been using the Family Search add-on to bring additional data into my
family file. Sometimes when doing this, the Child-Parent Relationship
field is being updated. I would like an easy way to clear these records --
other than one-by-one. I can't figure out how to do a Search and Rep

Yes, the one challenge I have with Dropbox is avoiding conflicting
files. You must be careful to ensure that the file on computer #1 is
both closed AND synchronized before opening it on computer #2. As you
as you do that, Dropbox works exceptionally well.

Is there / when will there be a list of changes 7.5 offers? I'd like
to review it before updating. I know the Family Search thing is the
big one, but as a non-LDS member, its the bug fix. list that I'm more
interested in.

Many public libraries have access to the library edition of Ancestry,
as well as other genealogy databases such as those published by
ProQuest. I've particularly found HeritageQuest to be of great value
as I can access it with my library card from home for free. My local

That's a good suggestion Sherry.
I'd like to say that it would be better if we could select the address
fields within the "+" areas to include on List Reports, rather than
having to use this workaround, but in the meantime, its a good option.

I would like to print a report with burial addresses for anyone in my
file who has one. I can't figure out how to do it.
I did a search for anyone who has a location in the Burial field, but
if I try to print, there seems to be no field option for burial
address.

I track all of that information in the Research notes. If a place is
uncertain, I usually will not include it in the Location field, or
will include the higher level jurisdiction (e.g. a source says
"Philadelphia?, PA" -- I would put "Pennsylvania" in the field, and
record that the source said pos
