I get the message Legacy Charting 9.0 Insufficient memory (case?) when
trying to make jpg charts with 4-5 generations. I don't get the message
when I choose to make the chart into a pdf but the pdf shows up in
Microsoft Edge as just one big blank.
What does that message mean, and how can I ge

1) Opening charting from the main Legacy screen does not result in the
"Welcome Screen" shown in the manual, but loads a "choose chart type"
screen, just like version 8.
2) Charts prepared and saved under Legacy 8 will not open under version 9.

gen chart to be readable on A4 unless you print it to multiple A4 pages.

The charting service uses paper in 3 different widths: 24, 36 and 48
inches and several qualities. This is roll type paper for banners not

I added the occupation after the date and place of marriage, so that it will
show up on a Legacy chart. It was the only way I could get it included in the

L7.x. It is installed with Legacy, no need to do anything extra. It

Is there a way to include pictures with specific ancestor when creating a
fan chart? It seems that pictures are not an option when you change from
standard charts to fans. I realize that normally pictures wouldn't do well
in a fan chart but I am wanting to include a small image of a flag or ship

I was doing a Descendant chat with Legacy Charting and saw that a solid
line went from one couple to their adopted son. I vaguely remember
seeing seen some systems that would optionally put a dotted line if both
parents adopted a child thus no "natural" relationship.

Possibly you need to select the number of generations. Make sure you are
on the "Home" tab. You will see on the 'Generations' option. Increase
that number to the number of generations you want.
Being this list does not accept attachments, I made a screen shot of
