If there are two MRINs then it would imply that there are two separate marriages between them. You need to look at them and decide which is correct. However, firstly I would run a Check and Compress on your database, after a Backup. That might then remove one of the marriages as an error and

Jon, In Advanced Tagging when you click the Ancestor Button or the Descendant Button, both have the option to limit the generations. Make sure you understand the difference between the options on the Ancestor screen of Advanced Tagging. Read the Help from that screen if you don't. Cathy J M

Ancestry is a website, and Legacy is a program. You can scan your photos once, but need to upload them separately into their respective programs. Media is stored separately from your family files, so uploading the family file isn't enough. At least that is my understanding. Thank you, Trevor

I thought about suggesting IrfanView as it does open heic files, however the one click using the converter was faster and easier. I just used it to convert an heic file to jpg and it attached in Legacy without a problem.  I suspect that there is more going on. As

If you can open it using the built-in PHOTOS app, then you may be able to try one of the following. Just a suggestion: You can download Irfanview or GIMP. They are free. Open the JPG file with either one. Then SAVE AS name_1.jpg Hopefully, this will fix whatever format issues Legacy sees. Wes
