This week we launched a new project: Circumvention Central (
https://cc.greatfire.org). The idea is to test the speed and stability of
circumvention tools - both free and premium - inside the Great Firewall of
China. Anybody can run a test directly on the website. We have already

I agree that the petition itself is controversial. The proposal is unlikely
to be realized. Gathering a lot of signatures will help bring attention to
the problem though. I would encourage people to sign it for that reason.
