Directors, I have to preload a 300 MB Video File before a particular frame. This gobbles up a considerable amount of time (30-60 seconds, maybe). I want some sorta preloading event to happen untill and unless the video is ready to play. How do I address this issue. Regards brajeshwar

Actually, I wouldn't expect deleting an instance using list operations (ie. deleteOne) would cause any problems with only one object in the script instance list either. My understanding of the problem is that deletion confuses the list index so that subsequent items in the list may be skipped on

I haven't had any problems with Sorenson running off of CD. I would stick with it over Cinepak simply for file size. Have you limited your data rate? 180 kps is good for 320x240. Upsizing the video is a good idea, though. Quicktime seems to handle that really well. Charlie Fiskeaux II The Crea
