install Linux on it and use it a an FTP/NFS server and as a general learning
box.

I have tried SuSE's site and Google , does anyone have a list if the short
cut keys ?,
yesterday I went from KDE to a (what looked like a ) telnet session , I
think by pushing
Ctrl+Shift+F4 , needless to day I could not find my way back to KDE with a
reboot .

We are looking to start a Proof of Concept (POC) of Linux on zSeries very
soon , to aid my learning curve I want to install a Linux partition on my
laptop, are there any ideas as to what distribution I should install , or
does it not make any difference .
