ubtle issues with devm_request_irq. The
remove path can already render the ISR unusable/oopsable but devm will
free the interrupt only after remove has finished. Interrupts need to be
properly masked out before.

all the infos I got. Some more context would have been helpful. Is there

No. "dummy" is reserved for a dummy device in case an i2c slave needs
more than one address. The proper solution would be if
i2c_sysfs_new_device() could recognize the of_device_ids.
