20 MB would be more than enough. I have 3 kernels on my /boot and use a little
less than 10 MB

Shame on me, I should have known but it just didn't click. It eventually
dawned me last night too late to hold the mail.

Folks,
I have a little question about scheduling.
If I have two waiting processes running in the context of the kernel on a wait queue
(as a result of a blocked read). A high priority process is first in the wait queue
and a low priority last in queue. An interrupt occurs and the ISR wakes up th
entirely from the CD or what I
did copied some files to the HD. Now I boot with the CD and run it from the HD
that uses about 1.6 Gb disk space with the complete KDE jazz et all. That
frees the CD.

Do a printer self-test. The manuals for the printers tell you how to do it. If
the tests are successful than its your port or cable.
