Seems stable enough. The only problem I've ever had with the RAID5 stuff is that periodically, one of the drives would get kicked out of the set. This wasn't so bad, since it can be just raidhotadd'ed back into the set. However, when one goes undetected, and the next one gets kicked out, then

Having spent a considerable amount of time trying to ascertain the stability of vinum under FreeBSD, i'm not confident in using it on a production box. I don't know much (at the moment about Linux Software RAID), but would like to hear people's experience. It's a RAID 5 solution that interests
