Thank you Asaf, I have finally got LTSP 2.09pre3 working.
It was indeed an NFS problem but not in the way I expected.
Exports was good. NFS server was running.
The boot failed after Doing the pivot_root. This was a command
that runs only after the new root has been mounted over NFS and

Hi Peter.
I appreciate the time you've taken to reply to my (rather open-ended)

Which doc have you read? AFAIK there is no PXE howto as such (I'd really

James,
Check the setting is in /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf. Look for xdmcp stanza
and make sure Enable=true (or =1). If you are using xdm or kdm then
search the appropriate conf file for the equivelent. If anybody is using

Hi,
Ok so now I've got some of my WS's to come up and work with 2.09 I'm

Hi guys,
I've just purchased a LNE100TX etherboot card from
www.disklessworkstations.com. I'm trying to install it in a Boundless

should see the following messages:
Bootrom v1.6
Etherboot/32 Version 5.01
Found ADMtek..
Hello all.Could someone please explain why we are getting "fh_verify:
ltsroot/dev permission failure, acc=3, error=30".We are using RedHat 7.1
with LTSP 2.07 (we know old version, but it has worked well in past). Above
