Hi Jack,
Thanks for your advice.
D-link, Linksys, SMC, etc. are good brand and reliable that is up to my

Hi,
I have bought a STB3036N from http://gctglobal.com/
I'm trying to get it working as a diskless client using LTSP, but I'm

The work I'm doing is with the ThinkNIC. I have

Did you try "make oldconfig" using the ltsp config file
You may have to include non-intel graphic cards in the agpgart
section, when you compile the kernel

Sysadmin,
Looks like you have both the rootpath IP address set to 192.168.1.102
and the workstation IP address set to 192.168.1.102.
you need to figure out the correct address for the server
and put that in the root-path.

Yes, you do have. For a start, take a look at your dhcpd.conf file

This seems ok.

You'll need to setup XFS to fix that problem (read manual on that one)

Sean,
Local apps is a bit of a challenge to setup. Actually,
getting it going initially isn't hard, but adding your own
apps is where the challenge comes in. You need to figure
out which libraries are required, and which additional files
are required.
I've not heard of anybody running xmms loc
Vara,
Once you boot the workstation in runlevel 3, are
you looking on the workstation for the /tmp/start_ws

If it isn't there, then you must have gotten some errors

At the moment, the MP3s are played from a remote drive, but the traffic
impact is small. With LTS
