Brian,
what version of ltspadmin are you using ?
The latest is 0.10.
There was a problem that was fixed a few days ago, and it seems to be
working much better for people.
If you don't have v0.10, try grabbing the latest, it's in the ltsp-utils
package at http://www.ltsp.org/ltsp-4.1.html

The company I work for is very interested in using Linux thin-clients. We have
a Win2K DHCP server that is not going to go away any time soon, however. Does
anyone have step-by-step instructions for configuring a Win2K DHCP server for
Linux thin-clients?

I found a solution protracted fault with LTSP (V3) boxes the other day.
I had been having complaints of people having random lockups in the ICA

Most clients affected were VIA EDEN

I've done exactly what you are trying to do. I haven't documented it
well, however due to lack of time. I used IceWM, which is easy to

Hi Fredric,
a view minutes ago i wrote that the docs are not up to date.
You have to generate the host keys (ssh-keygen) and store them in
$ltsp/etc/ssh/.
Have a look at some docs about ssh, please.
If you need more help, please ask again.
i found the correct docs at:

Hi,
the client tries to send the events to the syslog daemon on the ltsp

the daemon with the '-r' option somewhere in the init.d script of

You should be able to, assuming you copy it in a way that preserves
permissions, symlinks, etc. `cp -aR` should do the trick, as
