I also found lines in /tftpboot/vmlinuz (vi /tftpboot/vmlinuz) witch
tells kernel to mount /dev/ram0 as rootdir and /linuxrc as innitial
script (rootdir=/dev/ram0 init=/linuxrc)
And about the NIC's, the answer is: No. I have 3. :-)

Jim / James,
I have folowed James' directions and advice. I have Read the Full Manual
and folowed all the instructions.
Paths are default. No links to anywhere. I'm using the default kernel
that comes with your kernel pakage (not core pakage like I said before).
I did not use mknbi at any time...
sure it would work, i built sim-links in the standard
places pointing to the ones i created.
Anyway, i think i'll begin from the begining. Again!

I forgot to atach my dhcpd.conf.

right (or not).

as start point. The unique modification i have done is to support sis900
and realtek cards (we have a lot of theses cards here) built in the
kernel. They were supported as modules.
I also tried the vmlinuz-2.4.18-ltsp-1 kernel in the ltsp_kernel-3.0.4
pakage

Here I go again...
Let me explain all the situation.
I use slackware 8.1 - kernel 2.4.18. (server and workstation)
I changed some paths because of disk space. I installed ltsp another
directory. DHCPD, exportfs, and others know this new location. AND I
also created a sim-link in /opt/tlsp point
ilesystem)
Freeing unused kernel memoty: 232k freed

and the machine hangs on.
What am i doing wrong?

I guess the mouse problem is because of the support for devfs on the
kernel i have forgotten.
I'm reading the ltsp_initrd files, now.

I'm sure it is the proper root filesystem! It has already worked before.
I'm using kernel 2.4.18.
By the way, i'm in a slackware box. If you (or sombody else) want, i can
send the modified install scripts.
