Any ideas what else has changed
to produce this kind of problem? How to build ltsp5 custom kernels - are
they pure distro kernels? Where to get ltsp5 kernel configs?

There have been reports that the current rtl8139 etherboot driver do
Well, I modified rc.setupx file as needed.
New xf4vnc is out and it should be working better as no driver
modification is not needed anymore. But you need ltsp4 or asking Jim to
update ltsp_x_core package to xfree 4.3.

ltsp-core ebuild package is in gentoo CVS now.
It should be availible through portage mirrors shortly.

request ok...". Changed kernel to 2.4.9-ltsp-6 and voila - everything works.
Any ideas?

So what I did do in order to get workstation sound and sound mixing to
work with XMMS and ltsp-3.0.0:
1) I did read this mailing list and found out about various bits and
pieces..
2) Downloaded ltsp_sound-0.1c-8.i386.rpm package from k12ltsp.org ftp as
it turned out that ltspsound-0.1b.tar.gz
