Hi everyone -
I'm running LTSP-5 and so far I cannot calibrate an ELO Touchscreen properly.
It is an ELO 1715L attached to a terminal.
In lts.conf I have set:
USE_TOUCH = Y
X_TOUCH_DEVICE = /dev/ttyS0
This allows me to use the touchscreen but my finger and the cursor are not in
the same place
r our users.

Hi all -
My users login to Citrix from LTSP terminals and occasionally cannot get
capital letters using CAPS Lock or Shift key.
Does anyone else encounter this problem? I've not found it anywhere on the
LTSP mailing lists as an issue.
As ever, any advice is welcomed.

Hi all -
Having some problems trying to setup ICA client at boot up in LTSP 4.1 on
Debian Sarge
I have installed the latest Citrix client (9) into
/opt/ltsp/i386/usr/lib/ICAClient
I have modified /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/lib/ICAClient/config/appsrv.ini file to
contain an entry for my Citrix server.

PS on, say, Debian?
Basically we want to avoid creating local users on the linux box and if it can
boot and run off a CD like Knoppix, so much the better for security!
Has anyone done something like this or got any suggestions?

ltsp-sound package - which is no
longer available :(
My defaults section contains:
SOUND = Y
SOUND_DAEMON = esd
I cannot get sound to play in any application on the terminal, an EPIA M6000.
Any ideas?

Dear all -
Is it possible to 'repackage' the LTSP-4.1 install files and the ISO into .deb
files and import them into the apt database? Assuming that at some time in the
future LTSP packages will be released as .deb files and available through
apt-get, it would be nice to have an easy upgrade p
o ltsp-4 but I need good sound support etc.
Cheers

I'm going to try and get hold of some different Bluetooth kit and see if I get the
same grief. Whatever happens, I'll keep the list informed.

Hi all
I'm trying to get a Bluetooth Keyboard/mouse combo to work on an LTSP terminal. Is
there any support for this in LTSP-3 /LTSP-4 or am I going to be starting from
scratch? Has anyone else had a go and got anywhere with it?
Cheers

I've performed an install of LTSP-4 on a box previously running LTSP-3 and was very
impressed with the wget based installer.
Thanks in advance.

I've got a real problem with Mozilla crashing on my LTS sessions. I'm running
Red Hat 8.0 with Gnome and gdm and mozilla 1.0.1
There doesn't seem to be a newer version of Mozilla packaged for RH 8.0 (?)
Anyone had this problem/fixed it?
Thanks!

Is there any way to check for these existing sessions?

Hi.
Sorry to ask what may seem to be a daft question, but do you have to make a
dhcpd.conf entry for every LTSP workstation on a network? Can you just set all
the options globally? I'm thinking of deploying this on a 10 user LAN to start
with, but there will also be non-ltsp workstations on the LA
I have now had success with this - interestingly it works very well with the

I am using dhcp 3.0 and a standard tftp server.
Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong with my configuration? Any other info
can be provided if it helps.
