Hi folks. I'm working on a new project with touchscreens, where there
will not be a mouse connected to my thin client. I'd like to disable
the mouse cursor. Is this possible with LTSP? I'm running 4.2. I
tried commenting out the mouse in lts.conf but it still shows up.
Thanks,

I've often wondered if it would be really helpful for us to compile a
list of thin clients that we've worked with, and what issues we've had
-- or how successfully we've been able to get them to work with LTSP.
When searching for new thin clients (that had serial port support) for a
new project, i

to go. Can I ask what thin client you've used that have serial ports?
The HP's I've worked with in the past dont have serial ports. Jean

Jean-Michel: Thanks for your post! It sounds like ELO is the brand to
go with. Also thanks for the link to that thin client. Its

Hey folks. I'm working on a new project for a client that is going to

so I was hoping some of you could suggest ones that you have used in the

File transfers from a
full-fledged desktop on the network, to the server, are going as fast as
expected -- but I'll still check the network out with ifconfig.

Hey guys, got a problem. I recently re-built a server for a client, and
in the process upgraded from Slackware 10 to Slackware 11, and from LTSP
4.1 to LTSP 4.2. Everything has worked great, except for I'm having a
little bit of a problem with the screen not refreshing as fast as before.

I didnt understand how ltspfs worked. I had it all wrong.

We use HP t5300 thin clients. 533mhz processor, 64mb of ram. They work

Hey folks. I was finally able to get Firefox and IceWM to run as local

Hey guys, got a quick one for ya.
I know 4.2 doesnt use NFS swap... It uses something different... but
does it put the swap files for the clients in the same location on the
server as before, or somewhere new?
I ask, because my server either isnt creating the swapfiles at all and
swap isnt wo

Hey folks, I got a bit more information from ya.
I booted the thin client up in SHELL mode, and restarted sshd on the

Then I tried to connect from a shell on the server, logged in as ws099.
