don't know
what we can do about it.
Hmmm, you mean that xforms creates popups centered at the mouse position,
and that there is no way of changing this?

in the correct orientation, though. Even
if I look at the postscript figure, e.g. with the Full Screen Preview
feature in the lyx figure popup, I see the correct orientation.
Any insight?

can change \print_command in your ~/.lyx/lyrc configuration
file. Read the file, it's fairly clear (there are many other printer
configuration options, also)

, it often happens with
superscripts, e.g. S^+. I agree that it should be ultimately reworked
inside mathed, but I don't know how easy it is for the developers. The
extra markers could do the job until this reworking is done, probably.

, e.g.
_{0}_ where the underscores would be in the glorious pink colour used by
Lyx for similar stuff (\hfill, protected blank etc.).
I would like to know if I'm the only one having this difficulty.
Thanks everyone,

Of
very much info, just want to know if these
"random" cut/copy crashes ever happened to anyone.

e you used the temporary
latex file that lyx generates for itself? If so, you should use
File-Export-as Latex. You can also try to run latex on the file on your
machine, do you get any problem? If not, suggest the publisher to upgrade
their sytems.
Stefano Ghirlanda, Zoologiska Institutionen,
it works (with Include at
least), thanks a lot!
On the other hand, I have to say in my defense that I was following the
User's Guide. I do not know if this has been updated in the pre1 series,
still using .12.

obably. But it would be enough
to be able to see that ps part and have the .pstex_t one included
automatically. Maybe a line like "text will be read from file xxx" near
the textless figure.

that I can check?
4.3.2 Xfig and Lyx, just at the end:
"Then you just have to include the LaTex part with \input foo.ps_tex_t"
note also that the extension is not what xfig spits out, .pstex

Hi, I reply to myself:
Any thoughts that do not involve redefining the tabular environment?
for know, I \let\hline\bottomrule.
_Very_ bad, but with booktabs + lyx I only need \hline at the bottom!

You are right: LyX should not allow font changes inside of LaTeX mode,
since they do not make sense.
Hmhmhm, this sounds well said.
BTW, it's nice to have developers in the same time zone!

, resulting in \noun{\} in the tex file.
The easiest way to reproduce this is to enter tex mode, type a command,
convert the backslash in noun mode... rather tricky stuff. I understand
that it's not the kind of things you think of when you program!
