{\a{a}} in bibtex

Hi all, A latex problem I suspect, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I want to use {\a{a}} in an author name in bibtex, however, when I view the postscript file, I get an error about the character not being available in the T1 encoding. It appears that lyx uses the T1 encoding as a default.

A couple of small points in lyxrc.example (lyx 1.1.6)

When reconciling my current lyxrc with the latest lyxrc.example, I found the following stylistic inconsistencies (i.e. small things, but nice to fix): 1. Some commented out commands have "# " before them (e.g. \serverpipe), but most just "#". Something like s/# \\/#\\/ is what you need to fix it.

pstex image problem

I've hit a problem with 1.1.6 when using tables. Difficult to describe it, but when appending a column to an existing table, it sometimes crashes. Worse, the emergency file is truncated :(, so on one occasion I had to find a .tex file in the temporary area and relyx it (ayaargh - scary). Anyway
